Salvation
At BBC, we believe according to God’s Word that the only way into heaven is through Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6). A person must understand that they are a sinner (Romans 3:23), the payment for their sins is total separation from God (Romans 6:23a), Jesus died in their place to take their punishment for sins and rose again (Romans 5:8, 6:23b), and that they must repent of their sins and place their faith in what Jesus did for them that they couldn’t do for themselves (Romans 10:9-10, 13).
Baptism
At BBC, we believe that baptism is one of the first displays of obedience a new follower of Christ should make. It is a public profession that you have trusted in Jesus Christ as the sole source of salvation from your sins! Baptism is scriptural! (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:41, 8:36-39, 16:33)
Membership
At BBC, we welcome into membership all who have called upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation (Romans 10:9, 13) and have been scripturally baptized (Acts 2:41). If you have questions about what it means to be a member, stop by our next steps table and ask away! Periodically a Discover BBC Class is taught during the life group hour on Sundays. Life Groups
Connect with Believers
In Acts 2, those who believed were baptized, and then they were added to the church. Once someone has believed in Jesus, their next step is to connect with a family of believers. Through these relationships, a new Christian can grow and mature in the faith and teachings of Jesus. It is our goal for every new believer to be baptized and then connected with friends and others in the church body who can help you mature and grow in grace.
The primary way we connect is through our Life Groups. There’s a group for you, and new friendships are waiting to be discovered!
Discipleship
Jesus modeled the importance of personal discipleship through His relationship with His own twelve disciples. At BBC, we believe that personal discipleship should be the focal point of a church that reproduces a life worth duplicating in the lives of others (2 Timothy 2:2). If you are a born again believer and you have a desire and will to grow in your faith, come visit us at the welcome center for more information on one-on-one discipleship!
