Unashamed Student Ministry

At Bible Baptist Church, our student ministry is dedicated to empowering young people by equipping them for a life of faith through discipleship and accountability. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where students can grow in their understanding of God’s Word, all while building relationships with their peers.

Empowering Teens for the Christian Life

Unashamed Student Ministry is for students 6th through 12th grade. We aim to partner with parents to lead students to be disciples who make disciples. A disciple is a person who lives and loves like Jesus and helps other to do the same.

Share : Fulfill the Great Commission

One of Jesus’ last commands while on earth was that we go and share the hope that we now have in Him. We encourage students to go and share the hope of Jesus everywhere. We do this by taking missions trips to other countries and finding places to serve our own community here in Gulfport and the surrounding areas.

Relationally

We believe God must be central to the life of a student. We do this by opening up the Bible every time we meet in order that we might know Him more fully.

To Grow

Missionally

We believe every person has a deep longing to connect with other people and so we do our best to foster a growing relationship with God in the context of community. We call these Unashamed Groups and meet in grade levels to dive deep into the Bible and discuss how it applies to life with one another.

To Show

Sacrificially

We believe every student has been gifted by God, not for themselves but in order to be a blessing to others. So we are always encouraging students to get involved and serve someone other than themselves. We provide different opportunities throughout the year to do so.

Our team of trained, skilled leaders works closely with students on a personal level. We’re committed to helping each student develop spiritual disciplines that will prepare them for life as an adult follower of Christ, laying the foundation for a lasting, vibrant faith.

We’d love to have you join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM for Unashamed Life Groups or on Sunday evenings at 4:30 PM as we gather to grow in faith, build community, and dive into God’s Word together.
